Been so busy!!!

Since I decided to jump into the land of the bow business, I have been jumping...and jumping...and jumping!!! It has been crazy trying to keep up with inventory at Antique Queens in Rockdale, TX ANNNNND trying to have a summer with 2 kids - minus one at her dad's for the summer :( - ANNNNNND keeping up with the increased amount of special orders! Don't get me wrong...I'm not complaining...but whew, I need a vacation! Doesn't look like that will be anytime soon because my 6 year old's T-Ball team just won 1st place and is headed to District! WOO WOO!! If you are from Texas, you know just how important girl's softball is!! I really hope to get some more stuff on etsy this week. Catch y'all on the flip side...or whatever phrase people who don't watch Disney all day are using these days!!!

Market Days - Rockdale, TX

I set up my first booth at Market Days in Rockdale, TX the first Saturday of June. We had a smaller than average crowd. Even so, it proved to be a small success and I'm sure I will do this again. I learned a few things. Rodney learned a few things. I couldn't have set up without him! Look for us again at Rockdale Market Days Labor Day weekend 2010!

Relay for Life Silent Auction Donation

I just donated this super cute "CHEETAHLICIOUS" outfit to our local Relay for Life silent auction! I just love the bow!!! We'll see how well it did soon!!!

MY FIRST ETSY SALE!!!

YAY!!! I have my first sale on ETSY! Of course it was a TEXAS LONGHORN HAIRBOW! I am so excited and am ready to start adding tons of stuff (exaggerating of course!) to my blog and etsy sites. Keep checking on me...I just might be getting the hang of this!

I'm trying to get the hang of the blogosphere!

Hello everyone in cyberspace! I am new to all this blogging stuff and am trying to add a few things to this blog. Have you ever felt so out of place in a place where no one can see you? Exactly! Well, this blog is OBVIOUSLY a work in progress and will continue to be since I have 3 darling(most of the time!) children and a wonderful husband(who shall remain nameless until I get his consent!!!). I also keep two other rambunctious boys and always have someone in or out or both at my home. I am trying, or at least contemplating trying, to start a business out of making bows and stuff...stuff has to be fancy, sassy, or sparkly according to my fancy 5 year old(a.k.a. the bow aficionado). I also am trying to discover how to BLING out my blog. I never was a computer junkie and now I have to be! I suppose I should get my 12 year old to bling out my page...and take notes in the process. Off to work while the boys are napping...until next time...whenever that may be!
